What is a ‘holy moment?’ Essentially, it’s a discrete space – a tiny slip of time – in which we stumble upon or are visited by something which reminds us of what is sacred and divine.
To be ‘sacred’ is to be set apart. So, holy moments often distinguish themselves in our minds and memories. The qualities of these encounters, which are actually glimpses of the Almighty, are strikingly different from the way we typically view our hour-by-hour existence.
In the last three months of 2015, I’ll be examining my life – past and present – and remembering and rediscovering holy moments, seeking out their lessons for me.
